About Skradin

Skadin is placed near Šibenik. The extraordinay landscape in Šibenik's hinterland is ideal place for holidays especially when you want to escape from your ordinary urban way of life. The untuched nature and in many ways surreal beauty are protected as National Parks of Croatia. Those parks are Krka River, Kornati Islands, and Paklenica Park.
When in Skradin you have to visit Krka River which is placed nearby.

The Krka National Park is located entirely within the territory of Šibnik-Knin County and encompasses an area of 109 square kilometers along the Krka River: With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 meters, the Krka River is a natural and karstic phenomenon.

The Krka National Park is a spacious, largely unchanged region of exceptional and multifaceted natural value, and includes one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. It is intended primarily for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, and tourism activities such as visiting and sightseeing. It was proclaimed a national park in 1985 and is the seventh national park in Croatia.

Restaurant Skala
The restaurant Skala is placed nearness ACI marina in a beautiful part of Skradin where the historical remains of roman nekropola dominate. The whole area is flavoured with protected plantation of exotic fruit – žižula. From the terrace there is a beautiful view to Krka river, on the gardens full of greenery, and on the multitude of jacht masts from the nautical center.
The food we prepare are similar to the ones of our grandmothers, so that you and your friends can enjoy in many food specialities and supreme dalmatian wines.
The Skala restaurant is still preserved from the negative human impact on the natural and cultural-historical resources. It was opened in July 2003. The capacity of the restaurant is 70 sitting places in the terrace and 50 places indside.

The restaurant is based on a «slow food» system of gastronomical offer. We offer either fish and meat meals, for example: fisherman's brudet (grooper, scamps, eel, squids, white wine, olive oill, garlic), beefsteak Skala (beefsteak, Dalmatian smoked ham, cheese, Brandy, pepper, salt).
