About Iž
The island of Iž is one of the 18 permanetly inhabited island of Zadar’s archipelag. It is placed between island of Ugljan and Dugi Otok. Mali Iž is in the southeast side of the island of Iž and it is composed of three pitoresque places (Mucel, Makovac and Porovac) which are spread on three hills. Two bays (Knež and Komoševa) lies beneath of them.
Indented rocky shore whith many little islands, lagoons and spits are wealth with rich sea fauna nad flora represent attractive diving area for the lovers of the depth and submarine fishing.
During summer heat you have fresh breeze blowing from the land to the sea (named maestral) making perfect weather conditions for windsurfing.
Atrractive bike riding throug hilly pathways leads through olive groves from which you have view all across the Kornati islands.

Restaurant Knež
The tavern "Knež" is placed very near the sea, at the very waterfront. There you have safe berth for your yacht. Nearby it is a small fisherman village. The offer of the tavern consists of first class cookery both meat and fish specialitites. Also, there you can fun with your friends playing bowls.
