1) What makes this
offer different from all other offers?
This offer is simple. It includes everything. So you can just lay
back and not worry about a thing - before, during or after your vacations.
It is transparent and has no hidden loopholes. Through it, you will
be able to take better control over your expenses.
2) Both skipper and the hostess or
only the skipper?
Having a skipper AND a hostess on the boat means that you agreed to
have the best possible service you can have. They both can indulge
you within the range of their activities and make your holiday to
be the most comfortable one.
3) What are the obligations of the skipper
and the hostess?
The skipper is the highest authority on the boat. This means that
he is in charge of the navigation in its whole. He takes care of the
boat, his crew and guests. He is the “Big Daddy” on the
ship. A good skipper is always keeping a low profile but is always
present when needed. A good skipper is an ASA skipper.
The hostess is skipper’s right hand. She is also has a great
responsibility. She takes care of the guests helping them to enjoy
their vacations and relax in a best possible way. She prepares meals
and keeps the inside of the boat tidy and clean.
4) What about the customer-crew communication?
An extensive experience has made ASA Skippers learn the language of
the customer.
5) What about Itineraries? What will
we see on the Adriatic?
We have set various itineraries for this summer and every one of them
has a special features. However, itineraries that are set 2-3 months
in advance quite often can’t be realized because of unexpected
weather conditions.
Certainly, that does NOT mean that you will be disappointed. No. This
only means that you are going to be able to choose other options that
we have hidden in our pockets for special occasions.
6) We do not like some things you have
included in your itinerary. Can we make my own one?
Of course! We will be happy to provide you with all the necessary
information that you can use to create your own itinerary.
ABOUT THE BOAT:
1) How does the boat we will go with
look like? (Type, length)
The length of the boat depends of the number of guests and their wishes.
Also, the number of beds depends of the length of the boat.

2) How comfortable is the boat?
The comfort of the boat depends on you. It is closely related with
dimensions of the boat and the number of guests onboard.
3) Is there the shower on the boat?
There is at least one toilet on the boat. The boats with greater dimensions
have higher number of the toilets (and showers) the boat. There is
also a shower on the ramp on the back of the boat that you can use
every time you get out of the sea.
4) How much water do we have at our
disposal?
The capacity of water tank depends on dimensions and type of the boat.
However, you should economize spending of water on the boat. Water
is refilled in marinas throughout the Adriatic. So the more water
is spent, the more you will visit marinas.
5) Is there electricity on the boat?
Yes, there is electricity on the boat. Every boat is equipped with
few 200V European model sockets that you can only use when connected
to shore power source that is usually found in marinas. Bigger sized
boats offer an independent power generator that can satisfy all your
power needs during your vacations.
6) Can the boat capsize?
There is no possibility of capsizing because of the boat structure
itself. Furthermore, Adriatic Sea is perfect for sailing due to its
general weather and sea conditions.
7) Can I get the sea sickness?
It is skipper’s responsibility to notice changes in the mood
of its guests and crew and is obligated to go to the nearest marina
or port if further help is needed.
8) Can I get the sunburn or sunstroke?
You must not expose yourself to direct sun for too many hours per
day. Having adequate sun glasses, hat and sun-protection cream is
recommended. The skipper will tell you all necessary details regarding
that subject.
9) What about clothes and footwear on the boat?
The only thing you have to take under consideration when speaking
about clothes and footwear is - convenience.
NAVIGATION:
10) Are there any obstacles to navigation?
There are not many. The mayor obstacle is the weather. The skipper
monitors weather forecast on daily basis, and updates its guests on
possible changes in the itinerary.
11) How many hours per day can we sail?
We can sail as much as the wind/weather or our itinerary allows.
12) How many hours per day can we stay
in a bay swimming?
The answer on that question is the same as the previous one: you can
stay in a bay swimming as much as the wind/weather or itinerary allows.
13) Are there sharks and sea-urchins
in the Adriatic Sea?
There are both sea-urchins and sharks and they are delicious!
14) Can we learn to sail?
If you are interested to you will learn to sail.
15) Can we steer the boat?
From the beginning of the cruise, all guests are active on the boat,
so if you want to you can learn whatever you want, including steering
the boat.
DIET ON THE BOAT:
1) What will we eat on the boat? (Gastro-offer)
On the boat you will eat the best Croatian style dishes that will
be prepared by your skipper and hostess. All the food is based on
authentic Croatian gastro offer (which makes part of Mediterranean
cuisine), but you can also give your suggestions.
2) Who will cook?
The skipper and the hostess will cook but if you want you can cook
also.
3) How many meals will we have on boat?
On the boat you have breakfast, lunch and dinner but between there
are snacks whenever you want. The fridge is open to anyone all the
time.
4) Can guests cook too?
If you wish to cook on boat you are welcome.
5) What about the veggies?
The skipper and the hostess can adapt the diet to everyone on the
boat.
6) Will we be able to visit the taverns
across the Adriatic Coast?
Of course! You will be able to visit famous Croatian taverns. That’s
the whole idea of Exclusive Sailing.
